LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES

By purchasing or using this traction augmentation device, you agree that the sole remedy for damages resulting from use of this product is the repair or replacement of defective parts. Implus Corporation or its distributor in Canada - Interex Industries ltd., will replace defective parts within 90 days of the date purchased for all Canadian customers.

In no event shall the seller be liable for incidental or consequential damages. The warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use are limited to use of this product as a traction augmentation device on outdoor ice and packed snow. There are no warranties which extend beyond the description on the face hereof.

Shoes pictured with Yaktrax are selected at random and are not meant to imply any endorsement on the part of the shoe's manufacturers. All shoe brand names and symbols are the property of their respective holders. Specifications subject to change without notice.

To keep the product in good condition as long as possible we recommend to rinse the product (to get rid of sidewalk salt etc.) and wipe it dry after each use and then keep it inside (stored at room temperature).

 

Also, even though we understand it’s difficult to avoid some surfaces, but traction products are designed to be used in packed snow (not deep) and/or on icy surfaces and it is not recommended to use them while walking/running on paved, gravel, concrete surfaces, indoors or on any surfaces cleared of snow or ice as it might cause a premature wear and tear and will affect the integrity of the product.

In case of any questions or a warranty request regarding your traction product (YakTrax, IceTrekkers or Stabil), please send us an e-mail to - help@interexind.ca - with the following information:

  • a copy of the receipt

  • a picture of the broken product

  • the product size

  • your shoe size 

  • your mailing address.
